The main goal of Feng Shui is to identify forms of energy in the house and determine which flow of energy is more beneficial for the occupants of the house. Blocked, stagnant chi or too fast can lead to loss of opportunity, loss of health, vitality and happiness.

Being the heart of the house, where friends and family gather, Feng Shui is very important for the kitchen. Kitchen's Chi affect the food storage supply and food preparation. Thus, affects family's health and wellbeing.

Kitchen Clutter:
Clutter is a constant source of frustration and frustration also blocks Chi. The kitchen should be a happy place and not a room full of troubles. Remember this, always keep the kitchen clean, tidy and clutter-free.

Remember, dust is also considered as clutter too. So keep the kicthen clean and dry.

All the hardware should be functional and in good condition. Never keep broken pieces in the kitchen unfix or just thrown it away and replace with a new one.Fix any broken hinges or drawer pulls. Replace burned out bulbs. Ensure that the stove is working and use them in rotation to keep the energy circulating.

Broken or chipped crockery, glassware, cooking utensils or dishes turns good Feng Shui to negative. It is very important to get rid of these items.

Check for dripping faucets or leaking pipes. They symbolises money and resources draining away. Discard the dirty dish water immediately everytime to prevent accumulation of stagnant energy.

All the clock in the house must be in good working condition and show the correct time. Change the battery immediately. Dead clock in the house means a halted progress and that life is not going anywhere.

It is easy to ignore expired canned food at the back of the cupboard. But that's exactly what harmfs the beneficial Chi. Always tidy up your canned food supply in the cabinets and refrigerator. Discard stale crackers, oil rancid and rotten food. Keep your spice container full and tidy. A half empty container means unfinished projects.

The direction of the door is very important when figuring house fengshui. Since it is the mouth of chi, the direction of the front door tells you what kind of energy is predominant in the house. For example, if your main door facing the North you should be aware of a Ba Gua area of the house and all the issues involved. It may be that the person has problems towards the north gate of career or who are very independent and it is difficult to maintain long-term relationships. To determine the direction of your main door, stand in front of the front door while your back is facing the inside of your house. Do not take the direction your front door while standing in front of you are looking inside the house.

There are some colors and materials that best support each other in the direction of the door (and Ba Gua). Choosing the right color and element supports and nourishes the people back home. Here are some guidelines you can follow:

North facing door: blue, black, white, wooden



North East facing door: orange, purple, yellow, terracotta


East facing door: green, blue, turquoise, wooden


South East facing door: green, turquoise, blue, wooden

Garden Feng Shui

Feng Shui is a Chinese philosophy based on recognition of the innate power of natural elements around you like the wind and water. The philosophy is built around the concept of Chi ( Qi ), the energy that leads to wealth and success in the life of a person. The philosophy of Feng Shui can be applied to your garden as well. For a garden designed and constructed in accordance with these principles is called Garden Feng Shui.

Planting some plants in a way so that the positive and beneficial Chi is transferred to you is the concept in Feng Shui garden. It is believed that Chi is generally present all around us. But it is concentrated on a few sites that require planning your garden is in line with the placement of beneficial Chi. Areas of Chi is supposed to bring tons of happiness and prosperity to the person who have the Feng Shui garden. Fire, wood, metal, water and earth are the elements of chi in Feng Shui philosophy.

Chi energy is concentrated in some areas it is advisable to build your garden in the curves and balanced proportions. One important aspect of building a Feng Shui garden is the YANG energy associated with it. Good lightings and space attracts YANG energy in the garden. It is advisable to keep the garden bright with some garden lights on the southwest of your garden. This will ensure a happy marriage life for you. Do your best to include the five elements of Feng Shui in the garden to reap the benefits.

How to include all the five elements: fire, wood, metal, water and earth in your garden? Be creative in building your garden Chi. If you sow the seeds that grows red flowers, then the element of fire is represented. Growing trees or a bonsai would bring the element of wood to the garden. Erect a bronze statue or bronze colored statue or a sundial in a certain area of the garden to ensure that the metal element also present. Building a pond with a few fish in it or a fountain in the centre of the garden is a good idea to include water-factor in the garden. The earth element by using clay vases or adding small gravel or clay walkway can be addes in Feng Shui garden.

Bathroom Fengshui

In Fengshui, bathroom is where the drain is located and therefore it reduces the owner position from guaranteed optimal energy for the bedroom, living room and other key locations in the house. The draining power effectiveness depends on its location in the house. Here are some effort that you can do to prevent excessive drainage and maintain the house's fengshui integrity.


Bathroom is always has a draining energy within it regardless where it is located. To avoid the draining energy from taking away the beneficial chi from your house, place a full length mirror or a small one on the bathroom door. This will prevent the flow of chi in your home from draining into the bathroom. Always keep the door closed, the toilet lid down and keep the drain closed or covered when not in use.

When your bathroom is on the ground floor or on the first floor above your front door or the kitchen, it can be just as destructive energy in these important areas. If located in the lobby, the bathroom it will distrupt the chi flow. If located on first floor, on top of the main door, it may gives the harmful energy to this important area. Above kitchen area, the energy will drink up the energy of home cooking and flood the area with negative energy.


Don't worry. There are many approaches you can take to prevent the draining. For example, a picture or a statue of something natural and lively like a bird or a tree or flowers, as an illustration, in the kitchen or bathroom below. Plus, blocking this draining by hanging a multi-faceted crystal from the bathroom ceiling, being in the center as possible. Or, hang a mirror above the toilet to prevent the escape of energy through the plumbing. Place an object made of natural earth such as clay statue, terracotta tiles or vases in all corners of the bathroom. Earth materials must approve the adjustment to cover the water in the bathroom, which could create a safe environment chi from flowing out of the house.
 
If your bathroom is in the middle of the house, it can also be a condition. Being in a centre of the house, it is the worst location to be. In Fengshui point of view, because it could destabilize all the energy in your home. To counter this, you should take a very drastic measure. Paint your walls red, bright, warm colors will obsolete the negative energy. Place a full length mirror opposite the door and place an object based on natural earth such as soil or clay stone in every corner of the room.

Here are my ten tips to improve the flow of Chi in the front door or the driveway:


1. Keep the front door or entrance clear obstructions such as refuse sacks, trees and children's toys. The main door is the source of chi and you do not want to prevent the vital energy to enter the house.


2. Once inside, do not block the aisle with many shoes, coats, shoes, bicycles and bags. It's a good idea to take your shoes off when entering a house to ensure cleanliness, but ensure they are stored in an area specifically designed for them. Stored shoes were also ensures that keep the energy of the external world than the world inside your home.

House Feng Shui 2011

2011 of Rabbit's year doesn't look promising for a Rooster. So i guess i need all the celestial help that i can get my hands on. It might not be the worst year, just stagnant. No progress from where i am right now in all aspect of my life.

I want a positive progress in a lot of things. Just to think of all of it already put stress to my brain. I need to destress a lot from now on because i can feel it already make me less of a person i want to be in my entire life.
